Shipping and Returns
Shipping Policy
Thank you for supporting my family and placing an order with us! Our team ships packages out by every Tuesday and Thursday. We ask for 2-3 business days to get your package out to you, but on restock days it may take longer due to the large volume of orders.
We charge a flat rate of $9 when ordering within the United States, and shipping times are subject to the carrier. Heavier or bulky items such as sheepskin cost $12 shipping.
If for any reason you would like express shipping for your items please contact us at:
orders@wildoaksapothecary.com and we can send a personalized quote.
Wrong Addresses
We ship to whatever address is inputted! If an address is incorrect and is shipped and then returned to us, the customer must pay the shipping fee to re-send the package. For domestic purchases it is $9 to re-ship, or $12 for sheepskins, and $1 more per package if selecting insured shipping.
Lost or Damaged Packages
When a package leaves our office and is left in the hands of USPS, the responsibility of that package is transferred to USPS (if shipped domestically) or UPS or Fed-Ex (if shipped internationally.) We are not responsible for lost or damaged goods once they leave our hands.
You have the option at checkout to select Insured Standard Shipping for $1 extra to ensure that you get a full refund or replacement in the event of any loss or damage. That option is also a selection for the $150 free shipping threshold. We strongly encourage you select this option as it will guarantee you will be reimbursed by the carrier in case of loss or damage. We do not refund or replace items that were lost or stolen in transit.
If your package arrives damaged (crushed box, broken tinctures, damaged items) or empty, please take pictures of your items and box and save them as evidence, including the packaging the items came in. You can then reach out to us and we can help you file a claim to get a refund, if insured. If you do not save the packaging (if damaged or empty), USPS or the carrier may not offer a reimbursement.
We are happy to help with any shipping or delivery issues, please reach out with any issues!
International Shipping
Shipping to Europe is a flat-rate of $35 USD.
Shipping to Canada is a flat-rate of $25 USD.
If your country is not listed we may still ship at a custom rate. Please contact us about shipping to other destinations and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please keep in mind that your country may charge additional import fees upon receiving the items. Buyer is responsible for paying import or customs fees.
Return Policy
We do not accept returns for our tinctures, tallow, teas, laundry soap, boost, or other internal or external use items we make in shop.
We do accept returns for candles and our household items like brushes as long as they are unused.
If you change your mind or placed an order by mistake you may contact us within 14 days of receiving the item and begin the process of resturning the item. The item must be unopened (sheepskin not used) or if it didn't have a wrapper, must be unused and you will be responsible for any mailing costs incurred.
We charge $9 for items from the shop that are not sheepskins.
We charge $12 for sheepskin returns.
We are not able to accept opened and used items as returns.
Sheepskin Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your sheepskin, you can return it if it has not been used, been around pets, or been around cigarette smoke. A refund will be given after the sheepskin returns to us and is inspected. A refund is given minus the $12 shipping fees to send the sheepskin back.
Due to the high demand for our sheepskins, any specialty sheepskin (one that is numbered) will be charged a $10 restocking fee along with the $12 shipping fee.
Please note that sheepskins are a natural item. Some shedding is to be expected, as with any natural rug, and some variations are to be expected due to the tanning process. These include, but are not limited to:
Marks or discoloration on the backside of the sheepskin
Small patches of fur missing that do not affect the quality or appearance
“Armpits” on 4 corners of the sheepskins, where sheep naturally don’t grow wool
Matting of the wool in some patches, which is naturally occurring both in the wild and in the tanning process, as wool behaves similar to hair!
We guarantee a high quality sheepskin, but please know that when purchasing a natural product there will be imperfections that make it unique and natural. That is the beauty of buying natural items!
