The floral, sunshine part of elderberry, Elderflower can be used in many ways to help the body’s immune system. 

It can be used to help bring up mucus when dealing with coughs or congestion and can help bronchitis and other upper respiratory tract infections. 

It can be used to treat colds and the flu. Elderflower can also be used to induce sweating which can help bring down high fevers or support the body in fighting off infections. 

The flowers can act as a gentle laxative when needed. The tincture can also be used as a mouthwash or rinse for oral inflammation or gum issues.
