Jewelweed is a flowering bush that often grows where poison oak and ivy are. For it to be most effective, the jewelweed needs to be fresh when extracted. This salve was made using a two-part fresh extraction of the jewelweed into oil, to keep all of its beneficial constituents.
It can be used to remedy the itchiness that comes with coming in contact with poison oak and ivy and to soothe rashes and skin conditions.
Keep this salve on hand for hiking trips or anytime you need a little support calming a rash.
