"Terra" - Herbal Electuary

$17.00

This honey was crafted with my favorite beverage (spiced chai) in mind.

This blend was also formulated to feel like a warm hug for a frazzled nervous system. The herbs and spices used are known for their warming and soothing effect on the body.

An electuary is a mixture of herbs and raw honey and is a traditional method to consume herbs with ease. The honey beautifully brings the flavors together and suspends the herbs. Electuaries can be thick enough to roll into a lozenge, or thin enough to pour. This electuary falls somewhere in between! It has a paste texture.

This raw electuary contains all organic or wildcrafted:

  • Ashwagandha

  • Cardamom

  • Clove

  • Ginger

  • Ceylon cinnamon

  • Vanilla

Electuraries can be consumed by the spoonful or can be drizzled over yogurt or stirred into a warm beverage. The texture of an electuary is a little gritty, as you are consuming larger amounts of herbs at once, but delivers the herbs to your body so quickly.

This electuary is earthy (which inspired the name!) and grounding, with that spice that you get from a spiced chai. My children consume it by the spoonful, and I prefer to mix it into 6oz of raw steamed milk for a cozy nightcap.

It is DELICIOUS.

The honey can be used any way you would normally use honey:

  • Drizzled on pancakes

  • On biscuits with a little butter

  • In cookies or protein bites

  • To sweeten teas

  • As a garnish for a charcuterie board

  • As a dip for fruits like apples or bananas

SERVING SUGGESTION: consume 1 tsp (7 grams) as desired. I like to mix it into a glass of steamed raw milk! You may add more to taste if a sweeter drink is desired.

SERVINGS PER CONTAINER: approximately 22 (7g) servings

SUPPLEMENT FACTS: one teaspoon contains approximately 270mg of ashwagandha

The honey comes in a 4oz. amber glass jar, but the honey itself weighs 5.5oz.

  • As a little girl, I was fascinated with nature.

If you could peek into my past, you'd find a barefoot girl more comfortable when muddy, making mud villages, building treehouses, digging forts in the field, and crushing up flower petals to make perfume. I desired to be a nurse, or a doctor, when I grew up. My heart was always to help, to see a need, and to attempt to meet it. Keep reading here.
